If you push hard enough it'll go into first when you're moving. :newlaugh: It'll make a cool crunching sound too!
When I taught my youngest brother how to drive my old convertible he did a 4th to 1st shift at 40 mph. It felt like he had slammed on the brakes.
i think that there be bad

Holy crap. Thats what happened to my celica then. Ill take pictures as soon as I can. I should become an engine tester, cause if it survives my driving, then and only then can it be labeled as "bullet-proof".

I know a guy who did it in an RX-7. I think he messed up the rotor bearings and apex seals.

My friend Steve always used to shift 1-2-1 when he was learning to drive...that was in my Mom's Toyota, and it handled it fine. I think 4th to first would be a little more extreme.
