Check the timing on the crank angle sensor.

Is it cranking but you're not even hearing the puttering of gas? I just finished the motor swap in my car, and it cranked but didn't turn over cause I had no fuel in the lines, so I primered it by connecting a jumper wire to each end of the primer that is on the wiring harness, right by the fuel cut thingy on the passenger side.

well 1st check to see if the coils have power. There is a black wire with a yellow stripe I believe that powers the coils. To verify spark I usually ground the plug and watch for a spark while someone cranks the car...

i tried that no spark havnt check to see they're power to the coil yet, but i ran tests like the haynes manual say on resistance of the coil and they're all in recommended spec so i know they're good. so i really have no clue what sup.

You might want to try searching the various forums for "spark" in the topic because I have been reading quite a few no spark questions.

BTW, on my T2 the power wire was tan to the leading coils.

1st off make sure connectors x15/16 are plugged in. I bet they are not.

Then check the resistance on the cas. Then check the the wires from the cas to the ecu for continuity. The make sure you see a signal at the wires that connect to the ecu. Then check the ecu signal wires to the coils for contiunity. Then replace ecu if neccessary.
