My car starts up really bad in the morning and when I let it sit for a while. I dont have cold start on there but before it used to start up great without it even in the cold. Now for some reason I dont have fuel pressure in the fuel lines when I take them off. Before it used to spray out when I took off fuel rail now there is nothing but air in there. So when I start it up after it sits it takes a while to crank to get the gas in there and then it dies right away since the gas is going through the rail with a lot of air still in there. So I cant find the problem and thought maybe you guys could help me out.

maybe the fuel pressure regulator? there is also a check valve in the fuel pump, and it could be the injectors

Hmm make sure the pulsation damperner is not leaking also, you'll never know

mine does that too. i'll start it up, and when i give it gas, i hesitates and dies. after a few min of idling, it works just fine.

I just replaced the fuel pressure regulator and its still the same... so how do i check the valves now?
|
theres one in the fuel pump somewhere, i suggest finding a complete fuel pump unit and swapping

I've already done that with the one that was in my parts car and its the same exact way.
