my damn horn stopped working on me. i check the switch (in the steering wheel) the relay and the horns. i can hear the relay click but i don't get power at the horns. i checked all the fuses and they were all good. at least untili blew the gauge cluster fuse. anyone got any ideas what else it could be?

 

if the relay is clicking then it prolly needs to be replaced...my g-friend's sister's Cavalier has the same problem and it's just the relay...i could definitely be wrong though....

 

well since the relay clicks when you push the horn button, it can only be a few things. either the horn is bad, it has a bad ground, or there is no power to the relay, or the relay is bad, or there is a bad wire to the horn

If is not the horn, the CPU needs to be replaced or have the cold solder points resoldered. Don't get confused this confused with the ECU. The cpu is located on the driver left kick panel.

i resoldered the cpu and cleaned the relay contacts. i've got power to the relay but i put a test light on the horn and got nothing. is it setup so both horns work or neither does or will one work by itself?
