No Compression
#1
aight... i finally got around to doing a compression test in my 87 T2. the front rotor yeilded about 70 lbs per sq. inch and the rear rotor had no compression... zero.
first, is the 70 in the front correct, secondly what should i do about the rear rotor???
thanks,

He probably means that it has about an average of 70 psi on all three faces. If a seal is shot than you'd get one reading and then two with nothing or little pressure.
I believe your engine is shot. Has it been sitting for a while or did this just recently happen? Maybe a seal is stuck. You can try the ATF trick (in FAQ sec.) but usually no compression means you're fucked.
