Thanks, first car I have ever had with leather. I like the improvements on the S5's versus the S4's. Tail lights, UIM, and I definetly like the 5 speed over the auto tranny. The top looks wet, I just put a shine on it. I will have to find a product that will keep the wet look.

The car has 102k on the odometer. I have to replace a couple of switches in the doors and put new glass in the driver door. Needs a battery, some wax and a good buffing, and then she should be ready for the road. I didnt get hurt, traded a old aluminum boat plus 500 cash, I am very happy.

how do u take off the wax that gets in between the car. I waxed my car and washed it a thousand times and still got wax. The wax even thit the moldings and there fucked up now. I use mothers "Back 2 Black" But its only temp. Help

Rob x-7 04-06-2003 04:51 PM

you dont put wax all over the place.

You avoid getting the smallest bit of wax on those rubber moldings.

A horsehair brush, or a really really soft toothbrush in the cracks

to get out the wax.

You need a wax remover to remove it from the moldings, and even then

it will probably stay on the moldings, try some acetone or something.

Key is to just avoid getting wax on those areas.
