hello yall,

just got my new motor for my gxl. well its the 3rd motor for this car anyways , went from a na to a jdm t2 to now a 13bttre cosmo. took the exturnal parts off the cosmo to check a few things and when i looked into the ports i was pleasantly suprised, not only was this block in new condition on the outside and the turbos where also new but the motor has a half *** port job to it as well.

now im tearing this motor down to bullet proof it a bit and put my fc rotor housings on it and finish porting it and powder coat the who thing as well but it was odd to see this grinding in the center cast iron only and the engine looks like it was never appart and no way could this have been gound from the out side. look at the pics of the ports and you deside.

anyways going from a stock s5 na to a stock t2 then big turbo t2 to now cosmo is quite fun i must say also on its way is the new engine managment system a wolf 3d 4.0 to replace the 3.0 i have now.

man i got alot of work to do before winter is over. o well its fun to work on them just as much as it is to drive.

Get the whole runner damp with a little fuel, it looks like it continues further up the runner. My guess is those marks were maybe a quick clean-up of the iron before assembly.
