Hi. I wanted to first say, that I have been searching & reading through the forums for about 3-4 hours a day for the last week, filling my head with all of this information about the FC3S.

I just traded a 1994 Acura Integra w/ 215,000mi for a 1997 Mitsubishi Mirage 87,000mi (Dad's replacement car) and a 1989 Mazda RX7 Turbo II with 125,000 mi, but the engine is blown, but the mechanic I traded with is putting in a new engine (I believe it is rebuilt) from the local Mazda dealership. All the RX7 needed was an intercooler (Bought a used one on eBay this morning for $47.00)

I am new to the Rotary, but I own a 1995 Mazda Miata (My Miata's Homepage).

As of now, I would like to keep the stock intercooler and turbo and run no more than 10-12 psi (Which do you recommend?). I have some modifications I want to do to the RX7, without compromising reliability and longevity of the engine and car. I have some ideas of what I want, but I want to know what you suggest in addition, or to compliment what I want. I know of some fuel issues, and what not, but I am not sure of what I will need.

What I want:

RB Full exhaust (Does this remove the catalytic converters?, if not, I would like to do so)

HKS SSQV (With RX7 Kit)

APEXi Auto Turbo Timer (With RX7 kit)

What I need (Please add anything, or correct me if I am wrong):

FCD??

Walboro 255 Fuel Pump, or Rotary Performance Fuel Pump (Which one, if any?)

Fuel Management?

APEXi WARN Boost Gauge

Thank you very much for reading my post. I think you guys can definitely help me map out my "Road to Modification".

First I have to say, in the two and a half years I have been a member here, this is the most organized 1st post, containing all the information necessary to help you with your modifications, congrats and welcome!

Unfortunately, I can answer only the exhaust question as a yes, the catalytic converters are eliminated when running the rull RB exhaust.

Sorry I can't help you further, I run a close to stock NA FC and don't have much experience with the turbo version, but there are many here that do.

Again, congrats on the new car and Welcome to Nopistons!

RX7Ryder, will 12 psi be safe for the engine, stock turbo, and stock intercooler?
