I made the shifter myself... Well my dad's friend helped. He has a machine shop so he milled the shaft it goes over the original ball I just took off the black cone thing on top of it. At least I had the idea and designed it myself. The shifter is actually a type R shift *** but I think it is quite tasteful.
I boosted my car today 1st & 2nd w/ a jump off the line. It's feeling fast as hell and it still has all season tires on it. I kind of smoked the tires a little but it's all good. I'm just gonna have to keep off of it for a while... DAMN!!! I was also cruising with my friend with a GSX-R and some guys asked me to be in their "group." They have some tight *** cars... 300 ZX, 11 sec TSI, CRX w/ Type R engine. I still think my car is the coolest though!
Hopefully I'll have the FMIC all together within the next month and my S-AFC tuned up! I definitely need a new clutch and tires though. It's fun to drift with these tires though... not much effort or power involved.
Apex13B, isn't that the 4 rotor Le Mans car?

It is the old ball joint. I just pulled off the peice that slide over it. And replaced it with a metal sleeve that goes over it with femal threads on the other side. Some green loc-tite to attach the sleeve and blue loc-tite to hold the *** in place.
There is no rubber to absorb the vibration but I could give a **** about that. It feels much nicer like that anyhow. I'll have to ask him if he'll make some. I don't think he'll do any small projects like that but I'm gonna see him tomorrow so I'll bring it up... see how many people he would need to buy it before he'd start it and the price.

He hooks it up hardcore. I don't want to be ******* him over. It'd be nice if he likes the idea to make some money on the side though. I'll keep you posted.
