Well after looking for over a year i have found and purchased a RX that is in great condition. It only has 114k on the chassis and runs like it is new. I am still learning about this car so bear with me. I am coming from the acura scene also. I used to own a 91 integra which was a **** box but defently had some kick. Now on to my RX. It is factory white with power everything. 5 speeds of hell which i am loving compaired to honda's short gears. Black interior with a sony CD player that i recently installed. The body is mint with only damage from the other day when a drunk illegal mexican hit my fender and put a nice size dent in it. It is only sheet metal damage so it is all good and fixable. So this car is factory which is the reason i picked it up. I plan on doing some tuning but i want to replace somethings first. I am looking for good RX websites to pick up parts off of. I am looking for a front drivers side fender ,drivers side mirror ,and front bumper. I am looking for new parts! I already looked on partstrain but they SUCK!!! I will be doing all of the work minus the paint. I am attending ATC (automotive training center) starting in september so the painting will be done there. I am a car nut and love doing work on my car my self. Plus i really do not trust anyone else working on it. Thanks for the help.

Congrats on the car man. Turbo or NA?

If it's the factory paint, it's going to flake off...all the '91 white rx7s i've seen are missing paint, lol...

As for parts, search junk yards... you can also checkout mazdatrix.com, racingbeat.com and rx7.com.

It is a N/A. I would have loved to find a clean turbo but their are none around here that are worth the amount they ask for. Even the N/A's don't usually go cheap. Just before i was looking into the car i have now i was going to buy a black one (89 n/a) that had a blown engine but they guy was asking 3000 and the only mods were eibach springs and some cheap rims. He said for 5000 he would put a new engine in but for two grand i myself could throw a nice turbo motor in. Also i plan on getting it repainted this summer or in the fall. The paint on it is MINT which the only reason is for it being garaged kept all of its life.

Thanks for the welcome and i hope to gain more knowlege on the wankel engines.

Sounds cool. The putting in of the turbo motor will be more then $2k though just to warn you. I did a conversion in my '88, and my roomate has a '91 NA that was swapped to turbo as well. Just got it running again this past weekend, but it needs a new standalone, the old standalone is junk.

My conversion cost about $8k w/ decent parts and one **** jspec engine, his conversion was about $3k because the guy who did it hacked a bunch of **** together to make it work..didnt even bother swapping in a turbo fuel pump or anything, poor car. We'll get it straightened out though...
