Hey guys my name is Jeremy and i just bought my 13b twin turbo JDM motor for my 1987 mazda rx-7. My buddy has had the car for a llittle while now and he dropped 10k into the car. bought a new single turbo 13b motor and drove it for a while but due to shipping misscomunication he blew the motor and decided to buy a rx-8. now i have the car and i decided to go with the 13b twin. just bought the motor and ive heard it will mount right up but not really sure. it already has the single turbo motor and I thought that the only differance between the single and twin is the extra turbo and piping and wireing but thats all. What info can u guys give me.

Yep i orderedc mine today how long does it usually take to get them. I found your post before I could figure out how to check on my post haha. do u think you could give me a list of things I might need. I have most of it I belive. but if I had a list I could check off the stuff I already have and then I can see if you or anyone knows where I can get it. I would really appreciate it. Im not very good with the rotory I was only a little kid when I had the one that my dad gave to me and that was a 1st gen carberated so it was way diff than what im dealing with now.

The turnaround time is typically 1 week. I should be able to get yours done this weekend and shipped out early next week.

As for the details of the swap, it really depends on what all you are doing. At a minimum, you will need to address the exhaust, intake, intercooler, cooling system, oil cooler, and electronics. How you deal with each really depends on your setup though. Oil and coolant should be easy, just lines and a radiator sized for the expected HP. Exhaust and intake are really just a matter of running a little custom piping. Intercooler and electronics will be pretty similar to doing it for the 13BT.

I hate to be so general, but there are so many options that I just cant be any more specific. As you start getting things in place it will be apparent what you need.

I Have a single turbo and I have a frontmount intercooler and my friend had it running but like I was sayn my friend blew it up haha. so I didnt think it would be very hard to swap for the TII. My biggest issue will be my wireing u wouldnt be able to send me a wireing diagram or anything would you, I think Ive figured out the rest. I just need to figure out the wireing.

make sure if you slap that single on there you get it tuned for that setup. running the rotary engine lean is a quick way to another blown engine
