Take it to a local exhaust shop and have them look at it and get a quote. Shop around. Keep getting quotes.

Your worst local quote installed, will be cheaper than racingbeat system shipped only - and still have to be installed.

Don't fall for anyone who says you can't use generic stocked parts on the car. If they say "well, we have to order this", tell them to forget it. The stuff that they stock at a shop will work, they're just trying to get you on ordered parts markup. I found a stainless shop in Canada that made a stainless cat-back out of generic stocked parts for half the price of a chain-store ordering me OEM parts and installing them. Just see what you come up with. Shops aren't opposed to increasing exhaust size too when they are using generic stocked parts.

I noticed that the rx7 has two cat converters.. Do I need to have two or will one be ok and get rid of the one under the hood?

I think new catalysts are more advanced and efficient than the ones produces in the 80s.

You should be able to get away with one and pass an actual emissions test, but I'm not entirely sure. I haven't tried it.

Depending on your area, the car will pass a visual inspection with just one cat. Roadside checks are usually comprised of a visual checkover.
