new to efi ignition

ok i have an 87 rx7 base. i just installed a 13b that was formerly carbed in to my car. and i swaped over the front cover today. is there a special alignment point that the cas is suposed to be at? maybe im just dense 
any help will be very appreciated!!!

Here's a link to the factory service manual, check the ignition section. That should answer most of your questions.
