My shop manual is on loan so can anyone quickly tell me the torque spec for the;

Tranny to engine bolts

Tranny crossmember bolts

starter to tranny bolts

Driveshaft to pinion yoke bolts

and the slave cylinder if there is a torque spec for it

Thanks!

torque specs? there is only one thing on the whole car with a torque spec, the motor.

besides if you have one of those wrenches where you set it to whatever, and it clicks its not right anyways.

tranny to engine should be tight 50-60lbs ft

tranny to x member 30-40

starter bolts 30-40

d shaft 30-40

slave 20-30

you can tell how tight it needs to be by how big the bolt is

Yeah, the only bolts I worry about torquing to spec are the tension bolts. I just go by "feel" for everything else.

I found the factory service manual online thanks to Evil Aviator on the evil forum https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...DIR#>/wink.png

Looks like I'm going to be taking the presilencer to an exhaust shop to get the front chopped by about 4". Its a bit too long to fit with my RX-7 fashion downpipe.

The good thing about that is that hole is on the part of the pipe going bye bye https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...#>/biggrin.png
