good, stay away from autos. thats exactly my first reason not to get it. But, now, all of the sudden i want a freaking convertible.

And 4700 is too high. hmm. I would have never guessed that one, since kbb haas the listed for like 9000.

As far as buying non running cars, one can only pile so many in ones yard. Theres 5 at our house non running, 1 is not registered, plus the daily 5 plus 3 at a rented garage and 1 in the body shop.

laters

When I buy them I try to get them to run ASAP. https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...#>/BURNOUT.gif

If that car was mint then 6-7K may be reasonable.

Too high. There's been a 91 in the paper here for the last few weeks at 3500 or so and it sounds like it's it better condition then what you're looking at.

Don't remember the details.

My two cents: If the car was in great shape, then $4700 doesn't sound all that high an asking price, but I don't like collision damage. Lots of times, its what you don't see at first glance that is the biggest problem.

I felt like I paid too much for my TII ($2000) because it wasn't running when I bought it. But I had to have it, and the guy (he bought it at an auction) wouldn't budge. Turns out he was "rotary impaired" and all I had to do was unflood the car. I still need to do a few little things to it, but it's running strong. https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...#>/biggrin.png
