Ok, so as the description says, I'm using a water pump from an automatic RX-7 (apparently) in my manual. The big difference is this "water thermo connector switch" hole on top (3-8 in the FSM, I believe). My first thought was that this would be a great spot for the aftermarket water temp sensor, because it fit....except that doesn't quite plug the hole, because you screw it in, but the cable is still free to move up and down, so shouldn't it lock in somehow? I'm confused

Does anyone know what size this is and what I could use to plug the hole? Of course, this is only an option IF they make a different size fitting for my aftermarket water temp gauge/sensor. It's by Sunpro or something.

FYI, part of the reason I got this one is because the wiring for the sensor (and connector housing) (not the temp sensor itself), is completely trashed.

(and yes, this is on my thread about replacing my water pump, but i was hoping bringing attention to this individual topic could get a response quicker )
