Go to www.progressive.com They have free online quotes, you just gotta give them a little info. It doesn't take long either. Your insurance cost will be effected by your driving record, do you have a good record? I've got tons of tickets, including a negligent driving, a few speeding tickets, and full coverage for me is a little over $5000 a year. Hope this helps.https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...#>/BURNOUT.gif

I was under my parent's coverage and for a 1991 n/a I paid $100 a month. That's with a good student discount and no collision coverage, only liability.

When I was in college (in New York) I owned a 1984 GSL-SE. The insurance was $100 a month when I was 20. Then I went to Berlin, Germany with a 1988 10th AE (Turbo II). The insurance for a 22 y.o. was $250 a month. Like many of the other posts, I recommend you go get a quote. If you have time to post and reply to the forum, then you obviously can go to Geico.com or Progressive.com. Progressive will give you multiple quotes, up to 4 with their competitors. If you have the kind of money that you are talking about, and are buying a relatively low cost car, then get the basics. If you get into to an accident, take all your mods off and put them into another car. I feel your pain - $250 a month in 1988 was a good chunk of dough (actually it still is).

Good luck!
