Have you heard of the Monster conversion for the Miata? A place in California will drop a 350 ci Chevy small block into the miata. Beef up the suspension and drivetrain. Apparently not much modification was needed to the Miata for this engine to fit. I saw this a few years ago (back when RX-7's were still being built).

I just mentioned this because of the comment of the Geo. Anywhere, anytime, there is someone willing to try something new and unusual. If you change from a rotary on an RX-7, the car will lose quite a lot of what makes it what it is. JMO.

ok, now as much as you guys hate to hear this, but a FC with a blown engine and in need of some cosmetics, is pretty much WORTHLESS.

So if the guy wants to have some fun and swap a V-8 in it, let him do it

all this ruining the car bullshit, you guys act like its such a rare exotic

car or something

yeah, stick with mazda, A company whos history includes producing a $25,000 - $35,000 sports car, that had the paint peeling off not long after purchase.
