Thumbs down

there has to be someone out there with a stock 13b-re with the stock twins in a fc3s thats running a haltech...PLease (yeah I'm begging) someone please tell me they have maps for the e6x or e6k for this setup!!! If I use series 6 maps how will that run my setup so that I can drive it to the tuner without blowing up my motor ( the tow to the shop is $325 half of what I have to pay to tune it!)??I have a inovative wide band also I would appreciate some direction on how to street tune using that so the time on the dyno is minimal....Please I summon the grand wizard of rx7 to help me!!!! I just want the damn think to start...I'm about 2 days from either selling it or setting it on fire!!!! (hmm maybe buy a fd with that money???) I also posted in the haltech section but no luck there.

Go to the Hitman's website and look over his 13BT maps:

Pick the one that matches most closely, that should get you to the tuner, just don't get into boost. If you have the Innovate (as I do) you can monitor the A/F ratio and make adjustments as needed. When I first drove my car after the Haltech install, I had the laptop with me. When the car was bucking from being too lean, I pulled over and added a percentage to the entire fuel curve. Get familiar enough with the Haltech software so that you can do this. The tune can be pretty far off and still be driveable.

Yes, but I believe the ignition settings are different.

so change it, its just distributor vs direct fire or something

every car and setup is different enough that you arent going to find a map that works 100% off of someone else. just load up a hitman map and starrt tuning

Ohh I agree, but based on the OP question, it seems he is not "up to date" with the stand alone; based on that, I would think that a S4\S5 base map is his best option. Load the map, set the cas, and drive it to the tuner, vs changing ign\trigger\etc settings, plus everything else.
