yea this CS catback is loud and im gonna trying to find a resonator to quiet it down a bit. now, the catback is 3 1/8th inches and i would get a 3 inch resonator and get them to flare the tip a little to match it up. or i can get a 2 1/2 inch resonator with flanges and connect it to my cat. the part of the cat back that connects to the cat tapers to 2 1/2 inches if ur wondering and i'll cut the catback down enough to fit the resonator in, weld that 2 1/2 inch part back on then connect it that way. if u guys could point me toward some highflow resonators that would be awsome.THANX

Some people have used the Borla XR-1 muflers as presilencers. I'm think of getting one to replace my midpipe since my whole system is custom except for the cat back.

Im one of those people. The XR1 seems to work best over 4000 rpm. It is noticable louder below that, especially from 3000-4000. But its not bad at all. You can barely hear the exhaust when cruising below 60.
