ho-kay, now that the weather is cold and i've been going to the drag strip, i'm been creeping up to 11 psi in 3rd and 4th, and i'm worried my engine is going to explode from detonation. i want a little insurance, so i figure a higher flowing pump will make me run a little rich, giving me some protection.

where is the cheapest place to get a high-flow fuel pump, like a walbro 255 or something? i've heard they run for like $90. k2rd? is this even the best pump? is there a cheaper/better alternative?

I think sportscar motion may be able to get them cheap. I have seen them on ebay for 90ish, but heard rumors of them not being true 255lph. Walrbo would be a good upgrade.

I think the injectors would be the first thing to change before a pump wouldn't it?

There are plenty of people who have used and are still using walrbos without longevity issues. Most of the guys in Japan who run intake fuel pumps have been using dual walrbos for years.
