I think that I am in the market for motor mounts, because I am have a lot of noise(vibration???) when shifting or accelerating. and I have three choises here:

1)OEM rubber mounts: not bad in price. but how long it last?

2)poly mounts from banzaracing: most expensive one, but says never worn out.

3)solid mounts: cheapest

my car is for street driving only, and may keep it for a while. well, I don't need to race, but I want to good power and handling too.

right now, I just installed poly tranny mounts. and I think a forum guy suggest that combination of poly motor mount and tranny mount will vibrate car more. is it true?

thanks

well, the general rule of thumb is that the harder the mount, the more vibration your gonna get... softer mount= less vibration.

I run all poly mounts on my car with little to no vibration.

well, it is a rotary, so as long as your idling at a normal speed, you shouldnt get too much in the way of vibration

when i nistalled solid motor mounts all my mechanic friends told me it would shake the car. Honestly the amount of vibration is so little that after a week i forgot it was there. Mt girl got in my car and was like why is it shaking and i got freaked out then i remembered the mounts lol.

honestly solid mounts aint that bad on a rotary.

I have the mazdaspeed Motorsports ones that are +30% stiffer. See Mazdamotorsports.com or mazdatrix.com. Also check out other mounts such as tranny, front and rear diff and subframe. I replaced all but the diff and subframe and it still had vibration. Now i'm replacing those with delrin
