How many wires are coming out of it? I'm sure theres some way of bypassing it...

Bigturbo's car has that relay, and no alarm. But its possible someone removed it, but it has to be for the alarm. I wonder why the hell the signal wire goes to the Powersteering fuse under the dash https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...1047683561.gif

I believe it's the relay the security system uses to disable the starter. On the cars with no alarm that connector has a jumper on it. If my memory is correct the jumper is a blue connector with a black wire just looped around closing the start circuit.
I can't go check in person though, this is all history on my car. |
k let me get this straight, the egi relay controls the injectors and other fuel functions (possibly ignition as well) well since I'm using a whole new ecu is that relay obsolete??

a good sign of someone cranking the engine is if power steering is getting power, wala use the powersteering fuse. thats my theory https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...IR#>/smile.png. kevin. |
Interesting, I dont think i have that #2 relay. I'll have to check my car.

update: the starter cut relay. i unplugged it and car no crank. looks like its a normally closed relay and the alarm can open it if it thinks your a thief

i owe u a beer, thanks!!!!
I guess you could always bypass it, but that's probably not the safest thing to do |
