the only thing that depriciates faster than a mazda is a bmw. a 1992 750il stickered for $100,000 you can buy them for under 10k....

mike
Yeah, I've noticed that too. I actually thought about getting one. A 94 or 95 740i was about 70Kish, but they can be found for less than 20K easily.

Yeah, they're really nice. If I EVER bought a normal car it would be something like that...that's if I had to pay for it. :smirk:

:bigok:
they figured that **** out with the FD!
I agree...

BUT...

By 1989 or '90, the RX-7 was pretty pricey next to its competition. In spite of the performance advantage, many more n/a's than turbos were sold. The FD was an awesome performer, but the resulting price jump (and reliability issues) is what killed FD sales in the states.
A 1988 Mustang GT stickered for $15,900, LX 5.0 was even cheaper.

Is it any wonder they sold so many and are still the best selling car in its class? Even if you HATE them you got to admit at least they didnt price them out of people's reach.

no not rare, just limited. or hard to get a hold of. u can buy a civic anywhere, looking for a decent 7 is a hard thing to do. ive been looking at about 10 cars in the past 2 weeks and im looking into cars that still hold value. 95 4 door gsr 13,000 come on now thats a **** load of money for a 95. its cause the 4 doors no one wants to let go of cause they know they'll use it even when they have their family.

BTW i think im just rambling as usual

For some reason those 12cyl BMWs didnt go over well. The 850 was a even bigger bomb then the 750.

I know the owner of one of the marinas bought a 850 new and got it about $20,000 UNDER sticker back in the day, thats how bad the dealers were trying to get rid of them.

Those 850's were pretty cool cars, except for the price.
