If I got a custom drivshaft to connect to a T2 tranny will the N/A rear end be able to handle the power of the Turbo motor. It's a 86 GXL with LSD rear end.

It all depends on how hard you drive it. Ask Vosko, he broke his diff in his FD.

It's Tyresmokinrx7 here, I'm at my girls house.

The only difference between the NA/TII diferentials is 1 inch in the ring/pinion, and the the acctual LSD unit. Also the case is a little larger, and probably a little more beefed up for the extra power.

But as long as you aren't going into any crazy HP levels and you aren't running like 9 second 1/4 miles then it will probably be fine.

Also Vosko has broken alot of stock FD differentials, which are the exhact same size as the TII's, but they are TORSEN, and much weeker than the TII's LSD. I don't believe he has broken a TII LSD yet....
