I have another opinion.

You could try to maximize your car's value, by cleaning them up or repairing them. Sell them and put that money together with your modification fund to buy another one. It is like flipping house's, you buy a fixer-upper and do some cheap work, then sell it for more than you payed.

Rather than spend money and a lot of time on modifying a car you could buy a car that is more powerful in stock form. Then when you upgrade the power it will be easier and the final outcome will be greater.

Here is my math:

A $1000 rx7 + time and a few hundred dollars = $1500-$3000 rx7

$1500-$3000 + the $1000 you would spend on mod's = a $2500-$4000 rx7 (turbo II or a nice N/A)

It is worth thinking about. It is especially cool if you drive a car while you are waiting for someone to buy it. That is the name of the game, buy low sell high. That is what I do. The experience and fun you have driving it is worth even more than the sweet, sweet profit you make. https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...O_DIR#>/v2.gif

It feels illegal to buy a car, rat bag it, and sell it for more than what you payed for it https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...IR#>/evil5.gif But it is easy to do if you don't destroy it in the mean time.

Either way good luck with your project's. This might not be the right direction for you to go but I figured I'd mention it.
