After I bought the 13B-RE for my 86 and it came full of water I was able to get my money back but i ran into some problems and I haven't been able to get a motor. Then I came across this 88 for $1100 and used what I had saved back up for the 13B-RE and bought this car. My initial idea was to get the 88 for parts but since it started up i was thinking of keeping it as my N/A AutoXer. But I don't know what to do and I have to chose 1 im thinking going with my original idea use the 88 for parts sell what i don't need and finish my turbo 86

Here are some pics to help you guys vote which i should do.

Dude, '88 all the way, that '86 is busted. You can always just sell the carb stuff from the '88 and work on turbocharging the '88 w/ EFI parts from the '86... at least you'll have less bodywork, parts to find, etc...

I forgot to mention the 86 body is straight it has no hits only minor dings and I have the engine bay in the 86 fully painted it looks sweet but the exterior the paint needs to come off completly. the 88 has some rust and it looks as if the front end had some chassis work done and it has a steel bar welded in to mount a 1st gen motor into the second gen and from what i know the 86 is lighter thats why im leaning to the 86.

interior is same color so i can swap missing parts from one to another need be

bumpers from 88 are in good shape

and i have power cables in the 86 and SS fuel lines from the tank foward thanks for your opinion ONE320b any one else?

I have decided to part out the white RX-7 as the motor turned out to be garbage it has a blown coolant seal and probably a cracked apex seal since it will only start with oil pored down the carb.
