I was out side bassing with my car "boom""boom""Boom" and all of the sudden the radio started with a weird sound. When the song has a low point like lets say a trance song when it gets quiet it makes like a whine that fluctuates with the music. Its not alternator noise cause it does it car on or off.

Man I cant belive my premier radio went to ****, time to go alpine, or a higher model premier.

Do you have a passive filter at the back of the unit.

It's at the back of the unit and it's a black box that you plug in your RCA cables + power cables.

The filter is there to clear up any electrical noise (eg alternator, batery and there on)

check your grounds on the amp before killin' the deck. could be a bad ground or bad internal issue with amp. but not always the deck.
