Well its in. Only took a couple hours. Problem is now my car wont start. Its getting gas but engine just seems to spin without firing up. Ah well..... back to the garage. Any of you have any ideas whats going on?

daym i was just about to buy a Racing beat exhaust, good thing i read this non-starting issue. i will just get a single exhaust now. this should be stickied because many ppl have this exhaust and are not aware of this problem.

False alarm. The starting problem was my faul. I had the car tilted forward during the whole install. (A few hours like I said) knowing that my injectors leak. The engine was just flooded to hell. I let it sit for another 45 minutes and cranked it until she fired up. Funny thing is that cops never bothered me. I guess they figured I was running fart cannons like the honda jokeys.

Hey I set the record straight. It was my fault not the systems.

I know it wasnt the exaust fault, and it wasnt directed at you, im just curious how someone would think a car not starting after a new exaust is put on would be the fault of the exaust, and how a single exaust would somehow be better?

It's true! Sometimes the paper packaging gets crammed down in the Y-pipe to the point that someone couldn't see it and voila! clogged exhaust!

it may give you a boost increase on a TII and cost you a engine, but it would still start, lol

In my case, to be more acurate, I was consolidating the mess in the garage when I was re-assembling the car, I laid the RB cans in a mazdatrix box that was full of packaging peanuts (I didn't want to scratch them) and didn't think to check if any peanuts were left when I put cans on the car. So when I started the car for the first time, not only did I see the usual cloud of smoke from a new rebuild, but a dozen or so packaging peanuts blew out the ass end of my car!

daym calm down man, it was a ****** joke. and btw i do not think single is better, i have a dual GP Sports. (an ACTUAL 3" exhaust) (the ****** y-pipe is 3", not like others where the **** just narrows down) (not like the other exhausts are bad, but its kinda point-less to have a 3 inch DP, MP, then narrow down to like 2.25" or some **** like that) (some ppl may also think its "pointless" to have dual exhaust on a single turbo FC, but **** em')

its ok, we all have our moments, and if the rear bumper wasnt already cut for dual mufflers im sure more people would not bother with them anyhow

Hey, according to many dealership service departments. A new exhuast causes the wheel bearings to fail prematurly and as a result the wheel bearings are NOT covered underwarranty, and since the new exhaust was installed all warrantees implied are now void.

thats true, i dont know anything about rotaires but i figured the exhuast couldnt of had anything to do with the car not starting. i figured the guy who said it was joking cuase he never wanted a dual exhaust just a single

it was a ****** joke there guy, heres my shiet, i dont have a pic of it on my car tho.

i so want a video of that even though its not possible.
