Taking the car to the dyno next week. Question to you guys is. Who is interested in dyno numbers between the stock S4 turboII UIM and t-body vs. the 3rd gen UIM and t-body? It is 50$ for two pulls here and am doing dyno comparison between the stock turboII motor and a large exhaust ported motor. Posted a engine photo in the porting section.

Upgrade your pulleys too. Unorthodox makes a lightened pulley for the eccentric shaft. Adds serious HP.. You need to toss your Power-steering and A/C bracket too while you're at it! lol

Radiator is fine for what I like to do. 1/4 mile stuff.

P/S. Getting to old for that. But I did try it for two weeks.

Is the under-drive stuff worth the money. This set up ran the 1/4 mile at 127mph. Thats with 1.95 60 foot times and short shifting 1st and 2nd gear in a first gen that was 2720lbs. I think with the turboII running gear my et's will be better. Also will be able to shift at a higher rpm that should allow me better mph.

SDS is running the injectors. 8 x 680cc = 5440cc of fuel. Using a fuel surge tank to feed two 500hp pumps. One pump for the primary and one for the secondary injectors. The four on the UIM are the secondary injectors. Found a 3rd gen UIM with the injectors bosses already installed closer to the LIM. Getting a very small dip in the AFR when the secondary injectors come on. Think they are to far away from the motor. Hope replacing the UIM with the 3rd gen one will solve this. The dizzy is not looked and using a 2nd gen leading coil. Using only mechanical advance.

Any one interested in numbers between the turboII UIM and 3rd gen stuff?

Sleeper good luck with the dyno run, i am intrested to see the numbers as well. I have the SDS as well and am in the process of installing it. along with 45 other boxes of crap that go on the car.

I will tell you this, you might want to look into the Innovative Motorsports LM-1 wideband O2 setup. Phins (site moderator) is having a sale on them right now. The reason I mention this, the SDS has no datalogging capability. But the LM-1 can datalog for the SDS, help you tune, and you get the datalogging ordering the datalogging kit. (extra $99) If you need more information on it, look at this post

Thanks

camel

The greedy E-01 boost control can datalog 3 things at a time and up to 6 different things. I also have a 4 trace o-scope that can datalog. As for the WB stuff, PLX is what I have. Thanks though.

Will get number between the two UIM's. I personally don't think the net gain is going to be more then 10hp but I think the peak torque will be lower in the rpm's.
