I'd love one of those. First pic (of the coupe) btw looks truly awesome. Good tasteful mod for those of us who don't want a gaudy kit from Japan which is unfortunately most of them.

it seems the deciding factor if it fits a s4 or a s5 are the holes, would people care if they had to drill thier own holes?

Im thinking this is the only way I would bother selling them, I cant be bothered with someone thinking a lip made in my spare time will fit every single 20 year old RX7 out there, but if you drill your own holes then you are good to go.

I looked into some boxes today.

When I got my lip it came in a huge heavy box which must have cost $15-$20, which is another reason why I paid almost $60 in shipping.

I found I can buy 2 smaller boxes and sleeve them together which makes it much more economical because now I can pay about $6 per lip for a box. For now I might also grab some boxes from the local bike shop.

First I need to make some parts, lol

My black gelcoat was a bit lumpy, so I ended up using some gray duratec instead. I did a quick test fit and Im pretty happy with it for a S4 bumper.

The passenger side could use a little tweak but I think that is something with my car because the lip was previously slitted across the top so that it could be moved in and out, I have glassed it for the time being so that its stable when im making the mold from it. You can see the slit in previous pictures.

You can now see how it extends past the fender, this will allow me to trim it where I want it, before it was short of the fender.

Tomoroww starts the mold making process, with any luck maybe I can make one by the end of the week. Once the mold is made then its easy going from there.

I wouldnt give a damn if I had to drill my own holes....

Shoot me a price, I have always wanted a s5 lip on my s4 but everywhere you can buy them new is way over priced.....

I need a local volunteer to test fit the lip for me.

Im going to try it on my vert but right now I dont have the car here and wont have it until the end of the week.

Someone local I can test fit this clamping it in place, the only thing is when you remove your factory lip you might break the rusty bolts holding it in place, I will have new hardware for this should it happen.

I got some time to play with this again, got the plug polished and started the waxing/mold release.

Hopefully I get to make the mold this week.
