anyone have any insights about why water always fills the floors behind both seats of my 88 fc convertible?????..evry time after it rains,the floors could almost keep goldfish,they fill up that much...cant for the life of me see where any water leaks from but fairly doing my head in over it...cheers

 

ah its a vert. haha just kidding. in the bottom of those bins there is a rubba plug u can pop out untill you figure out the problem

 

pour water on the top and see where its coming from

Lol its the only possible way to know unless you replace everything

 

[attachment=47609:052.JPG]have taken the rubber bungs out and sat in it while a mate blasted water all over the roof and door seals...surely enuff not a drop leaks in when i want it to...just wondering if any other vert owners ever come accross the same thing??????????....ill find where its geting in and maybe someone might save themselves a headache[attachment=47608:054.JPG]

 

most likely the rear pocket. if you look just behind the door on the outside of the car thats it, leaves and things like to collect in there. There are also plastic drain tubes that run through the car and out the bottom. if they are clogged it will over flow run out and puddle behind the seats. remove the cover over the spare tire and youll be able to see it all.
