My Fc
#1
I drove the FC to the new apartment tonight, was up all night connecting up odds and ends until about 4AM... armed with the laptop rigged to a seperate car battery we ventured to drive out with no cooling fan since the shroud is not finished. Temps stayed cool the whole trip and tires were chirped in most shifts runs like **** other than that though, needs to get tuned.
Anyways, I'm happy, I can play with the car without having to drive to my parents first.
The TWM throttle body setup is pretty loud, from within the car the intake might be louder than the exhaust, I'm not sure.
Happy, like school girl.

Banzai: I just installed the drivers seat, nothing else is in from the old interior. For headlights/turn signals I had to install the gauge cluster surround by itself so I could use the old stalks until I make the new interior stuff. NA grudge match? Sure thing
Mazdaenthused: Actuallly, with my car there is no AFM or anything, when I open the throttle beyond like 10% with load it sounds more like a guy gargling really loud and fast coming from the engine bay... obviously varying with rpm, and how loud it is depends on how far I open the throttle. The hissing you usually hear is the air going past the AFM flapper.
I have a few glitches to sort out, the throttle cable still sticks a little bit so the drivability is crap at the moment. And I must have left something loose last night because during the drive home sometimes when I used the clutch the headlights went up and down heheh, but my foot was touching some wires, *shrug* will probably debug it today. I've relocated the main fuse block, battery, and main relay into the interior of the car so the wiring has been changed quite a bit, lots of soldering last night... and opportunity for error.
I was kindof hoping I would get pulled over just to see what would happen, the car looks really crazy at the moment. If I were the cop I would take one look in the car and walk straight back to the squad and leave.
