Here is my setup

88 SE

S4 TII Motor

S5 Stock Turbo

4X 550cc injectors ( already ordered 2X 720 cc and 2 X 1600cc)

Microtech LT-10s

Greddy FMIC

Greddy BOV

Greddy Profec B

Aluminum TID

AEM Dry Flow Air Filter

Magnacore 10mm wires

Racing Beat Downpipe and pre silencer

Custom dual catback

centerforce dual friction clucth

4.30 rear end

aluminum radiator shroud w/ efan

3rd gen alt(to keep things alive)

the car is blazing fast. i had only one real race with it it was with a BPU Acura TL 3.2 w/ a 150 shot N2O and i smoked him from the whole i must have left him like 3 cars back at the end it was about 4. that rear end is great for 1/4 mile driving but its not good for highway the rpms are at 3000 at 70

As far as upgrades what i have planned is the larger injectors which i already have but not installed and a a walbro fuel pump. I also have plans to buy an aluminum radiator, a gilmer drive belt system, and a light weight flywheel. As far as the stock turbo goes i know it is the bottel neck of the system but what can i upgrade to that wont cost me another $1500 i still got to paint the car buy the body kit and finish the interior.

i will post pics asap.

put the body kit on and paint the thing before you upgrade the turbo.

performance > looks.

upgrade that turbo. I'd rather haul *** in an ugly car than puts around in a nice one.

gilmer belts? are you having problems with your current belts or something?

there's a way to save up for an actual performance enhancer. dont' replace things that work fine, and if replaced gain no extra power.

anywho nice setup, but its always bad to talk about how good your car runs, we all know what happens next, the 7 sneaks in and reads it and decides to crap out on you lol .

Yea. You just jinxed urself.....

Dont waste the gilmer $$ on a stock ported motor. Those systems work great w/ high reving motors or ones that have issues w/ cavitation on the pump, etc... its not worth the $ on your setup. Thats a few hundred closer to a turbo upgrade...

If you want to go with underdrive than just go cheap and get the underdrive pulleys from RB or MazdaTrix. Sounds like a great setup, looking forward to some pics!

I am saving for a nice turbo but the gilmer drive belt system is a trick peice. it is alot better looking than the dual belt routine. And i finally got the injectors but the 1600cc injectors they sent me dont fit in the stock secondary fuel rail. so I ran the 550cc on the primaries and the 760cc on the secondaries for now. car is running a little better but there is to much fuel that walbro is pushing some mad pressure. time to get an adjustable fuel preassure regulator. all in all it is running sweet my newest kill is a lightly modded evo I tore him a new one.

Well this is for every one if your car is running great keep your mouth shut. Mr front rotor seems to have blown a side seal or cracked an apex seal the car starts but it lopes i did a compression check and i get 2 weak bounces and 1 strong bounce so there.

damn, before that happened i was gunna warn you about boost creep. But i guess its too late. Remember boys and girls, bouncing off the boost fuel cut and/or running a upgraded exhaust (which will make you boost creep on stock turbo wastegates) will make your motor blow. PORT YOUR WASTEGATE before you start getting on it with that nice 3 inch exhaust.
