Oringinal thread https://www.nopistons.com/forums/ind...howtopic=29570

The car has been sitting since its developed this problem...

I finally got around to taking the IC/TID off to look around and the first thing I noticed was oil around the inlet/outlet of the IC. It has a slight silvery tint to it ( Ill get to that in a second... ). So theres oil...Not a lot of oil, but some. My car never smoked like it was burning oil, but theres obviously a little bit there. It was also never enough to blow oil mist out of my BOV. But anyways, I took off my TID only yo find a little puddle of oil in the compressor inlet. Makes me feel pretty confident that the turbo is blown. Check the shaft play and I can pretty much move it wherever I want. Im pretty sure the silvery tint to the oil was put there because of the compressor wheel gridning away at the housing.

So it seems that the idea of the turbo pressurizing my oil return line and causing my oil squirt problem is a pretty good one.

Ah well...I guess the T04B will just have to be put on a little sooner than expected...
