im not a pro here let alone do I know anything about tuning or BP'ing but I know a SAFC is great for pulling some fuel on a n/a or something but once u get into porting and big power u need to step up to a stand alone for sure

im think of a first gen with a bridge port and holley or a turbo 2 swap.....do you guys know if there is a way to wire up the factory ecu .....i would love to used the factory ecu...

i give up explaining ecus to you.

ya know what you can run a pport and 2 GT42R's on the stock ecu.

kevin.

i mean a stock t2 with stock ecu in a first gen........or.....bp and holley

RotaryVillain 07-26-2007 01:56 AM

if your not running a STOCK car you shouldnt use a STOCK ECU.

give it up.

i dont know what its wrong with using the s4 rotors on a BP,i owned 2 BP on the past with S4 NA rotors(TURBO)and they ran fine,in fact everybody that i know build BP with s4 rotors cause the rotors are stronger,if weight its issue just get them shaved, now if you are running NA go with the S5

wow. i almost give up after the first 2 repliers completely misunderstood whats the op was saying and went off on a different quotient. all i know is i had a similar set up on a first gen and it ran great. half bridged t2 irons, with s4 na rotors, headers and 3" exhaust. awesome top end.

as a side note: you can run true duals in a first gen. racing beat is business, they'll sell you their products.

yeah im running the car now and its great..... love it. low end kinda suck slow acceleration but above 4500 to 9k wow the car really moves. you really feel the car above 6k and you know whas great it reall does not eat that much gas as a full bp. like i mention 9.4 rotor , 91 t2 plates with half bp, 3" exhaust 420 pri 550 sec , fd fuel pump and 91 ecu oh yeah 2t intake manifold.

I did something simular:

I turbo's a 6 Port S4 motor... Using a Haltech

It ran great until I blew a Apex Seal, but it had 160k miles on the motor.

(It made 15 psi of boost with the stock S4 Turbo and 550cc injectors) to a 3" dump pipe.

My new motor is a basterized Rotary.

I'm running 6 port end plates because I like the aditional intake timing, much like a bridgeported motor. Turbo center plate, Turbo Rotors, Turbo Oil Pump. Plates are further ported using Pineapple Racing templates. Using Turbo II housing, Ported as well. Still running a S4 Turbo (Wastegate Ported). S4 Turbo is due to my motor swap I don't have room for a HUGE turbo. Also running NOS 2 injectors on the motor. Still running the Haltech, but will be using larger injectors on the sec side.
