I had the monza pacesetter exhaust on my 86. No ****, it only lasted about 9 months before the rust ate through to the point of holes and cracks around virtually every weld.

I changed it out then with a dynomax for like $300 and a Walker high flow cat, it ran great and the rust was minimal after a year.

I have a pacesetter. It sounds nice and no rust after 2 years. Would have went with a different one but I didn't know about rotarys then. I would go with the corksport one now.

As for headers, I don't have one but am thinking about doing it. Is there a noticable gain? Like worth the money gain? Also what kinda custom work is needed for the RB header cause that will be the one I buy.

PS. I could be mistaken but Monza, Pacesetter and Dynomax all come from the same factory just with different names.

I have a pacesetter header and cat back on my Jeep and they work just fine. I've had the cat back on for a couple of years and the header on for about 6 months. You pretty much get what you pay for. Unless the header is ceramic coated or stainless it will rust. The "heat resistant" black paint that they have burned off in about 30 minutes on mine. Although its not pretty it gave me a little more power, good sound and people don't see it anyways. I here so much good stuff about racing beat I don't think you could go wrong with their stuff. Or Mazdatrix

What do you plan on doing? Using your stock cat? Or a high flow cat? Mazdatrix sells the header and cat that will bolt up to a stock Y pipe (Or your cat back).

And it is worth the $. I don't know what kind of hp gain though.

I have an aftermarket cat on there now. The pipe before the cat was made. I have the monza exhaust system on there now but might go with two Corksport mufflers and custom y pipe. I would want the header to bolt up to the cat, although I will be removing the cat eventually.
