OMFG!!!!

im so mad!!

here is the reason...just last night i was goin home from the clubs. then this MO' FO' starts tail'in and and high beaming (and we all no what that means... RACE!) i look back and its a kid that likes to talk ****! (know him from around) but i didnt race him...why its becuz my 7 is stock, no nothin. and i need to do a little fixin too... the kids got a 99 accord... (turbo's, NOS, and you know the rest of the stuff) now the kid is talkin **** and saying i dont have ballz and **** to race him in his accord....so finally here is my question should i or should i not fix up and mod my 88 rx7 because im not to sure if its economically worth it cuz when i mod my cars i go all the way! (for example 240 sx super charged, NOS, silvia convertion, right now in the shop) if i mod the 7 i want it like the one in initial D... i just want you guys to give me your opinon. sorry for the long story just wanted to blow of the steam

Umm... from what I've heard turbos on an accord don't make that much difference... They are pretty slow cars. You shoulda raced him or ragged on him that he spent $30,000 in mods and it only runs a second faster. I definitely would have raced him. Turbo accord makes me want to laugh.. those two words should not be used together.

it depends. if you have the money spend it. if you don't have the money just deal with it

In my humble opinion, I wouldnt waste the time or dough on an N/A chassis/engine. It takes alot of time and alot of money to do a conversion. The turbo chassis will cut so much time and so many headaches out. Yes you will still have to spend some $$$ but in the long run a way more cost affective application.

And for some not so good advice, get full coverage on your sevy, disconnect your brake lights, accept the challenge to race, put your seatbelt on, cut the god damn Accord off, and land on the binders. That car will be in the shop for months. That outta shut the little bastards' trap.

Again this is VERY BAD ADVICE, dont try this @ home. Should only be attemted by trained professionals. LOL

Well, I disagree that the NA chassis is a waste of time to build upon...NAs are great if your good w/ rotaries & rx7s. I think its best to start w/ the lowest model of the given car, and build up. My SE rx7 weighed about 2600 when I first bought it, it weighs just over 2400 now...when I get the rollcage in and do some more weight stuff...I'm hoping to even out around 2500...which is way less then a turbo rx7....

Should you mod your 7? No...honestly, if you already have silvia conversion being built right now...that should be plenty of speed for now, just keep the rx7 tuned good and use it for the better handling "sport" outing type of car...use the silvia for racing!

I would spend $600 on a Nice NOS system and then run him. You should win. This will put you into Turbo II power teritory. I'd run the Honda from a standing start.... while he is spining his front tires you will be GONE.

yes, because we all know that fwd sucks the big one. if you like initial D, use your 7 for drifting (concentrate on suspension mods) with a nice $600 Nitrous kit, for a shut up button (use it to shut up people who talk ****) if I remember correctly, a decently tuned 75 hp shot (wet, for saftey) has the possibility of putting you in the 13's which is far ahead of most any honda on the road (excepting those psychotic frankenHonda H22a turbo NOS CRX hybrids, I was deathly afraid of that car)

edit: but mostly, the 7 should be sideways, drifting is fun, and less illegal, just use the "I don't know what happened officer, I was scared"

(yes, I am recruiting for the drifting side, bite me, there aren't enough of us)
