170K on the 88 SE, 140K on the 87 TII before compression and vacuum started dropping.

160k on my 89 t2 before i decided to get fancy and build it from the ground up to my knowledge its only had 1 blown motor in its life.

225K on my 88 N/A on original motor just blew an oil line and hoping nothing happened to it



And I have been racing the car since i got it with 201K and it is still hauling *** with no smoke

1991 Red Vert 22,534 miles on of as of today. I'm thinking it'll be another 30-40 years at this rate that I'll need a rebuild.
