i was wondering what everyones milage on thier 7 is because mine has 153k and i was wondering if that was high or average for the year of the car its and 87

Generally anything above 100K is pretty high in a car. That's when a lot of things start wearing out (i.e. bushings, suspension, etc.)

Your mileage sounds about right. I think the average is around 10k a year for FC's, maybe less. I see a lot for sale still with around 100K or less because people usually don't drive them in the winter.

88 149k, was california car so it got driven alot.

1987 - 155K

Almost 206k miles. It's a 1991.

my 90 gxl had 108k when i sold it

my 89 t2 has 123 no the odo but it doesnt work anymore so its probably around 130k

1990 - GTu 187,000 miles

old SE = 222k miles

1988 T2: 100,600 miles

88 GXL, odo reads 120,371 but it went out for a few weeks, (Live in the middle of no where now so drive it alot) guessing more like 121k-122k

anyone know who has the highest original miles on this forum... or what is the most original engine mileage you know of for an 7? I'm sure thats hard to prove.

i know of a gsl-se that got a motor at 320k. and there used to be an 84-85 12a with almost the same miles.

highest original t2 i know of is 205k, guy bought it new, kept it over his yellow fd

i have a 91 GXL with 154300 on the clock and perfect compression.



it burns oil like randomly once a week when i start it (still trying to figure that out)

i got 155500 miles on my 86 na right now

88 t2 - 115k on chassis... about 600 miles on atkins rebuild

123k on factory motor..

1989 Convertible -> 29,436 miles
