My brother had a Maverick when he was in high school and that ****** was pretty fast, I kid you not. It was actually my moms car but he drove the hell out of it. It had a 302 in it with an auto and pretty low gears. The thing was a total family car, four doors and all, straight up stock. He has so many stories of roasting people at stop lights, some are just ******* hilarious! We used to call it the Mavelack (Maverick/Cadillac). He ended up swapping out the motor into a 68 Mustang.

The only time mine does not have a blind spot is when I have the top down......
But with the top up, there is a huge blind spot.

My cousin had a pinto and we customized it a la California style. (Think rice but not as many stupid stickers and nothing done to the engine)

It was funny as all hell. Wish I had a picture of it. Was actually a fairly good car until the engine threw a rod.

I mean for a pinto!

Dad had an AMC Ambassador that had OK straightline acceleration. 2 speed auto tranny. What a concept!

Then there was that Chevy Citation....
