I got my transmission finally and am looking at new parts to replace the old ones. So the Mazdaformance Clutch kit brings pressure plate, cover, pilot seal/bearing and throw out bearing for like $130 made by exedy from japan. then the mazdatrix are from Mazda but cost like $170. So i wanted to know if the exedy is the better deal (price is lower) but i mean quality.

For the slave / master cylinder mazdatrix got it much cheaper so ima get it from them.

I already have pilot seal/bearing and throw out bearing so if i get the mazdaformance ima have extraones and its cheaper just want to see which i should pick. dun wan to get a act clutch yet till i see if the tranny is in good condition

your help will be widely appreciateed

jason

P.S what else do i need to replace or check to make sure the tranny is in good condition and working order

I would stick with Mazdatrix. Although I have not dealt with Mazda performance, I can say that everything that I have bought from Mazdatrix has been the best of quality, they have never messed up and order, and I have receieved all my parts when they said they were going to be here. Usually that would be the way a business is run , but some of these shady internet companies don't do business that way. I have also heard that if, by chance, Mazdatrix does mess up an order, they make every effort to fix it quickly, either they will ship the right parts, or get you your money back. Some of these ****** rat bastards just take your paper and run, for me Mazdatrix is the way to go.

I've bought from them several times. Mazdaformance is always better in price than mazdatrix since they sell you things at cost to sponsored racers. You can not beat "at cost"

Cheers: I think you are confusing MAZDAFORMANCE and MAZDACOMP.

Mazdaformance is a dealership in TX.

Mazdacomp is Mazda Motorsports which is parts at cost to actively sponsered racers. Only takes 2 autocrosses a year to be sponsered!

mazdatrix is an indepentant repair shop in ca, who buys from a dealership, and aftermarket oem sources. on things that are dealer only mazdatrix should be higher, because their costs are higher. on items you get from ahem not mazdausa , mazdatrix should be lower.

MazdaFormance = $126.83 Exedy Plate, Disc, Throw-out Bearing, Pilot Seal and pilot bearing.

Mazdatrix: Plate $91.36, Disc $82.67,, i already have throw out bearing and pilot seal and bearing..

Mazdatrix does sell the master and slave cylinder much cheaper though
