my engine was put in by the mazda dealer in union, the total cost was about 3500, they took it out and put a new one in, as for the warranty, it comes with a 1 year warranty, and you have to pay extra for a 2 year one.

FYI: You can get them for $1700 at revolutionrotary

As I recall they are very strong engines. Had one in my Vert and it came with two new rotor housings.

Put the engine in, fired up on the first try, ran like a champ.

I bought one about a year ago from Malloy Mazda. I don't know if it still happens, but when I bought mine, Malloy had worked it out to only get engines with new rotor housings. I was happy with mine. No leaks and I put down 300 RWHP at 12psi in my FD. I'd buy a reman over a jspec engine any day.

jspec= junkyard engine from Japan, why people think they are gold is BEYOND

engines".. yeah ok, and I have a bridge in Brooklyn to sell you too, lol
