i talked to some guy who has a 13b (non-turbo ) and manual transmission for sale for $300. is this a good price? i have absolutely no background with the 13b so i need some help. he says the engine need to be rebuilt, but i dont know what exactly is wrong with it. since this engine came out of a 2nd gen, i figured that this would be the appropriate forum. the engine will probably end up going in an 80 mgb in need of an engine. or maybe swap out my 12a for the 13b and put the 12a in the mg. any suggestions?

if the body is not completely raped, then it's a good deal. you can do a rebuild yourself for around $800 if you do it right and you don't need any new housings...
