I have an 88 TII with ABS and am trying to change the master cylinder. The old(bad) one has two outlet ports (front and rear) that go to the ABS unit Now, when I go to get a new one, they all have three ports, one on each side and one on the bottom. I have tried different part numbers (for heavy duty suspension etc.) but they all have three ports. Any ideas?

Maybe they are trying to sell you the wrong part.

I went to three different stores and all of their computers list the same part numbers. I looked at all the MC's they had and they were all wrong. Maybe I should just take out a loan and go to a dealership.

Try going to Mazdaformance.com.. call them up. Or call Mazdatrix, I'm sure the specialists will know what the deal is.

I work in an auto parts warehouse and I looked up the m/c and from the sounds of it they are trying to sell you the NA 5 lug w/abs m/c. Try explaining to them it is a turbo and there is only two options, with or without ABS. I lokked at pictures od the two and the main difference is the extra port. I hope this helps and again this is just from my understanding. good luck -Jeromy
