I have no acceleration only when flooring it, TPS is ok, poor gas mileage, sounds like there is a leak of some sort after flooring it, accelerates fine when easing into the throttle, new fuel filter, cat. con. ok. ran fuel injector cleaner already. Any kind of help would be great, thanks.

Check compression, check timing, make sure your fuel pump is doing its job and make sure you're getting a good, strong spark.

Also, dont haul any fat chicks around. It makes my car seem slower, too.

my double throttle diaphragm is bad therefore that could be a problem. it doesn't hold a vacuum at all. the FSM says that it should hold 200 mmHg, but it doesn't any. well gotta fix that. well see if there is anything else going on too.

Does it smoke pretty bad or no?

go with silicone lines. When I switched from rubber, most of them were rock solid. Solid=cracks=no vacuum

look at the mount that holds the throttle cable near the throttle body.. if the throttle cable came off the mount thats exactly what would happen.

i've replaced the hoses, checked the acc. cable mount, and no it does not smoke. i'm starting to think that it has something to do with the fuel and something controlling it. it might even be that the fuel filter clogged up again seeing that i put cleaner into the tank. anymore sugg. would be nice. thanks.

well i've replaced the spark plugs, wires , and checked the secondary actuator and auxiliary ports and they're working fine. when i floor it the sound i hear is like a fffffff. if i cut off the key, floor the pedal, and turn the key back on, the car takes off and then after a few seconds the hesitation kicks back in. it sounds like there is a major vacuum leak but i've replaced the hoses and they're all fine. could it be an apex seal or other seal has blown? i've been trying to fix this problem for over 2 months now any more experienced help would be great. thanks

Did you perform a compression test? Try changing the fuel filter again, and get your injectors professionally serviced, dumping an "injector cleaner" in with the fuel isn't the best way to get them clean.
