This may help you, I don't know.

I have an 87 GXL. I run 17 X 7.5 - 114.3 38S wheels

I am really not sure what the last numbers mean but I believe the 38 is the offset and the 114.3 is the lug configuration. The 114.3 seemed to be a common number seen on all wheels for the GXL so I figure it is the 5 lug configuration and the distance between lugs or across lugs I don't really know. Hope this helps.

With the offset and 7.5 wide wheels I am very close to scraping the springs. I have Eibach aftermarket springs and they come really close.
