Hey all!

im looking for videos or the magazine that my car was in japan.. heres a pic.

If you have ever seen a FC vert' drifting in japan, chances are it would be this one.. used to be purple, and black before that..

in this directory here.. there are more pictures. Any help in locating the video from the drift tengoku magazine or dvd in japan would be appreciated.

http://www.j-spec.com.au/list/1528 is the specs.

according to that place, it was in a magazine, and has been on dvds.

anyone?

u wouldnt believe how much fuel this thing drinks

.. talking maybe 160kms per 60$

Tuning is everything, untuned doubly so (so say the wallet)

I have heard from somebodyt hat they have seen this car in japan drifting or doing burnouts. It was D1 drivers road car, and he spent bullk amounts. Im trying to find the magazine (drift tengoku march april or may 2001), as my car is in it and on the DVD!

any help, or somebody who may have that magazine?

hmmm

weird tuning issue with this one. Extensive mods and large turbo running on a std FD powerfc tune. Runs on 1 rotor below 1000rpm. 2nd rotor kicks in 1500rpm, and 2000rpm plus a/f goes below 10:1. I would presume its got something to do with the injecotr sizes, as my tuner does not know what the primaries are. The secondaries are 1600cc.

Under the greddy pipe going into the intake, there is a place where a vacuum hose goes. Quite a large metal structure sticking out the top of hte engine, i cannot find a hose that should go on it. My guess is that its part of my tuning issues, as vacuum is a nightmare on these cars. I wish i could get a pic, but its in an awkward spot.

Looks like it might be a manual boost control.

Those big secondaries are really pouring in the fuel.

One of the grip videos has the sexy style rx-7 in it. I don't know if its the fc though, I've never seen the video. I was just looking around on the net.

I was looking through a copy of Drift Tengoku magazine and there is an fc which appears to be that fc, except the headlights are different.

you need someone really good to go over that car, it might have a fuel injector wiring issue also
