Not just for info about this car, but if I ever look at a RX-7 and decide to get a compression test for it at the Mazda dealership how much does one cost? Just a approximation? And what numbers are bad/good/great? Any other guys have a estimate on what this RX-7 is worth? He's selling it for $3500, so is it worth it?

I think thats good compression, to do a comp test it prolly like $60. Drive the car to see if the diff and tranny is quiet. Make sure it shifts well. Check the underbody near the differential for leaking gear oil. Start it cold to see how it sounds, while its somewhat cold take off a radiator cap to check for bubbles, rev it to 4-5k you should see no bubbles. if it all checks out, i would offer a max of $2500 only cause of the miles. If it had lower miles it would be worth about $4000. Thats a 10th ae its a pretty rare car.

looks clean, these cars are getting old so there will be some wear and tear no matter how good the owner keeps up with them

I'd pay 3k

if it was me selling the car I wouldnt go down at all

because of the speakers. If it had the stock shitty

speakers would you say "i want you to knock the price

down $200 because the speakers are original and

I want new ones"

the car is a 1988, if I bought it I would EXPECT to have

to change the speakers.

with that being said, and without actually seeing the car in person,

I would say to offer him about $2500 if you really want it.

if you dont really want it offer him $2000, the worse that happens

is he says no.
