and about the dash and odometer, there is usually a black rubber part that keeps dust from entering the dash around the push button used to clear the mileage counter. i dont see it, looks like a space between the plastic and the long button, possibly indicating the dash has been removed?

But this car still isn't worth $6500. Please don't spend too much on a T2. They're great cars (I still love my '89 T2) but they aren't worth that sort of money.

But it is your money after all and the final decision lies with you. Choose wisely. :bigthumg:

anyone notice the battery is missing it's brace?

also the coolant level sensor wire doesnt look like it's routed the stock fashion, and is that a screw missing on the intake duct by the radiator? the right one?

I think there might be something fishy with that car.

so you just paid $6500 for a s4 t2?
the low coolant wire is right

My edit: at first I said it was missing the over flow hose, then I realized it has the hose on the other cap, maybe thats why it looks funny to you pengaru?

I just looked at the rads on both my s4's. My 88 looks just like yours Rob, with the cap on top and my 86 has no cap and looks like this T2 but it also has a hose coming from where that coolant sensor wire is.... very interesting.
